De veertigste editie van de Driedaagse start op 29 maart 2016. De eerste rit brengt de wielrenners van Plopsaland De Panne naar Zottegem. Daarna volgen traditioneel nog drie andere ritten, waaronder een slottijdrit. <\/p>\n<p>Plopsaland De Panne zou volgens het Nieuwsblad ook een van de nieuwe hoofdsponsors zijn van de wedstrijd.
